Liliane Nguetsa is a Cameroonian middle-distance and road athlete with more than a decade of national and continental competition experience. She built her career on the track, with personal bests of 2:06.58 for 800m and 4:27.91 for 1500m, and has represented Cameroon at multiple African Championships and the Jeux de la Francophonie. Her career includes a Central African 800m and 1500m double title in 2013, a fifth-place finish with Cameroon's 4x400m relay team at the 2014 African Championships, victory over 5000m at the 2019 CAA Grand Prix, and a Cameroon national double title over 800m and 1500m in 2024. She successfully defended national gold over 1500m in 2025. In recent seasons, Nguetsa has increasingly shifted toward road racing. She won the 2022 Douala Half Marathon in 1:24:18, finished third at the 2023 MINK Half Marathon in 1:26:06, placed second at the 2024 Lagos Women Run 10K, finished third at the 2025 Edéa Half Marathon in 1:21:26, and has won the New-Bell 10K in three consecutive editions from 2024 through 2026. Now represented by LionStride Management, Liliane is entering a structured road-development phase aimed at converting her established middle-distance speed into stronger 10K and half-marathon performances, with the marathon as a longer-term career objective. Her next development block is a 12-week KPAP training camp in Ngong, Kenya.
